Ground you can use again
Gastonia is the county seat of Gaston County and the biggest city in it. We come down from Lincolnton for land clearing, forestry mulching, stump grinding and grading on residential lots and larger parcels around the city.
Inside Gastonia the work is often a single lot that has been left to grow: briars, vines and saplings on ground that used to be a yard. Out toward the edges of the city there is more acreage, where the job is taking a pasture or a woodlot back to where it used to be. Either way the material is mulched in place and left on the ground.
Gaston County is Piedmont country, with red clay soil and rolling ground, and Crowders Mountain rising to the west of the city. Clay ground that is scraped bare tends to wash in heavy rain, so a mulched surface left after clearing does a lot of work holding it in place.
An overgrown lot in town can draw complaints from neighbors or the city. Clearing the brush and grinding out the stumps gets the ground looking like a lot again, and the mulch cover keeps it from going straight back to bare mud.
Seven services, one machine on site
- Forestry Mulching. One machine in, mulch on the ground, nothing hauled out.
- Land Clearing. Take the tree line back to where you want it.
- Brush & Underbrush Clearing. Open the ground under a canopy you want to keep.
- Grading. Level it, shape it, get the water moving off it.
- Stump Grinding. Below grade, backfilled, done with it.
- Trails & Gravel Driveways. A way in that holds up in February.
- Storm Debris Cleanup. Downed limbs and blown-over trees, gone.
Gastonia questions
Do you work inside Gastonia city limits?
Yes. Gastonia is on our service area list, from small overgrown lots to larger parcels around the city. Call or text with the address and we will set a time to look at it.
Can you clean up trees that came down in a storm?
Yes. Downed limbs, tops and whole trees are cut up and cleared off the property. The drive and the access lanes come first so you can get in and out, then the rest of the ground gets worked over.
How do you price clearing a lot in Gastonia?
Acreage, how thick it is and how the machine gets in decide the number. Lazaro comes out, walks it with you and gives you that number before anything starts, at no charge.
